With everything going on in our economy today, we thought it would be a good idea to create a blog to let you know everything going on within bright.net. Our goal is to keep our customers informed of what's going on within bright.net along with any new products that maybe rolling out soon.

As many of you know our new mailserver rolled out on December 16. It wasn't as painfree as we had hoped, however with all the bugs now out of the picture it seems to be functioning very well. The new look of the web mail has been very well received. For those of you that use Outlook for Outlook Express will not have seen a difference.

Along with the rollout of the new mailserver also came a new and improved My Mail program. Yes that had some bugs in it too that needed to be taken care of. But with that issue resolved you are enjoying the benefit of the new filtering product. A change you probably have noticed is that you get an e-mail daily showing you all the captured e-mail. You actually don't even need to log into your My Mail, you can retrieve a message right from the e-mail that is sent to you. There is no need to log into your My Mail and delete the junk mail, it will automatically be deleted for you in a few days.

One of the new products bright.net is rolling out soon is My Safety Net, which is an online back up product. Have you ever had your hard drive crash and loose everything on your computer? This product will back up everything on your computer that you ask it to, automatically everytime a file is changed on your computer. It stores these files for 30 days. So if your loose your computer, have hard drive crash, or have sometime of fire or natural disaster you information on your computer is backed up for you. That product will be rolling out soon, so stay tune for upcoming announcements.

We hope you will use this blog to stay in touch with us and ask your questions. We will do our best to keep you informed and updated.
